If you are a young married couple this is the movie for you. Starring the beautiful Jane Fonda and the Dashing Robert Redford. Its about a Newly Wed couple that experiences all of lifes "challenges" that marriage can bring. Its dramatic, funny, cute and quite the perfect story. The whole movie takes place in there very little one bedroom apartment. Curtis and I can quite relate to this couple because we have recently moved into a small one bedroom of our own. When we found this apartment I loved the price and location so much I didn't worry too much about what it looked like inside. I knew that Curtis went and looked at it on an earlier day and said that I would like it. I took his word and was fine. The day that I first saw this apartment was the day we moved in. All I had to picture the place was this floor plan you see here and the thought that 500 sq. ft. was a pretty decent size. Thank heaven for mothers. My mom and dad Kenny helped Curtis and I move in. My mom could tell the way I was feeling. All I could think was how SMALL the place was. The dining room was not a room, it was an area that you could try and fit a table with 4 chairs. The bedroom... there is 12 inches that separate the end of my bed and the wall. I will soon post pictures so you can get a better visual. Now, the reason why I was thankful for my mother is all she kept saying was.... " oh lisa, you will like it much better once your things are inside and put exactly where you want them." "Oh just Wait, you will make it look so pretty!" And you know what.... she was right! I LOVE my place! I love how cute it is.
I have linked the last scene of "Two Weeks Notice" Hugh Grant will tell you exactly how big my apartment is...

I love my little home. And I can't wait to share pics with you!
On September 18, 2007, computer science professor Randy Pausch stepped in front of an audience of 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University to deliver a last lecture called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.” With slides of his CT scans beaming out to the audience, Randy told his audience about the cancer that is devouring his pancreas and that will claim his life in a matter of months. On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. But this was a brief moment, as he himself acknowledged. Randy’s lecture has become a phenomenon, as has the book he wrote based on the same principles, celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities. Sadly, Randy lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on July 25th, 2008, but his legacy will continue to inspire us all, for generations to come.
Well, everyone, the time is coming soon. The time where Curtis and I will be moving into our first apartment. We are beyond excited! We are very well aware that new adventures and experiances will be ahead of us. I am so excited about all of them, even the challenging ones. I am so amazed and touched how my Heavenly Father has blessed my life. He has given me the best family to be a part of, the most perfect husband a girl could ask for, and so much comfort and love through every trial in my life.
This is a pic of My mama with her parents! From left to right: Grandpa Dan Eaton, Grandma Sue Eaton, MAMA!, Grandma Denise Cook, and Granpa Earl Cook. I love my grandparents!
I have been realizing how fun it is to hang with family. Sometimes I feel almost selfish because I like to have Curtis all to myself. But you know.... its way fun hanging with Family, especially Curt's family. The Fairbanks Family is FULL of fun suprises! We stay up late watching movies, play games etc. and at this very moment Papa Fairbanks is teaching me and Curt some Ballroom. My goodness, all you have to do is bring up ballroom and Steve is unstoppable! Its so cute!
On the way home from camping last week I promised Curt that If I could get back down to the weight I was before we got married then I would start taking Ballroom lessons, going to dance camps and going out dancing on a regular basis. Im hoping that this turns out because I really want to be a part of the things that make Curtis so happy. Ballroom used to be his life, that and soccer. I think I can do it... In the meantime I am going to train to run a marathon. Next year The Fairbanks family and friends will be running the Salt Lake City Marathon. Im really hoping we all get the chance to take part in this. It will be the chance of a lifetime.
This life is turning out REALLY interesting! Its great!!!
